I was 17 when I found out that I was pregnant. I don't believe in abortions, so I always told myself that if I ever got pregnant, that no matter what anyone said, I would keep my child. But when I found out that I was pregnant, the thought of abortion ran through my mind. Of course, when I told my parents, they freaked, and cried. But eventually they got over it and accepted it. I was also scared to tell my parents because my mother always told me that if I ever got pregnant, that she would kick me out. But she didn't. You’re probably wondering if I'm still with my child’s father. Yes, I am. I'm now 18 years old, and my baby is 3 months old, and she's the best thing that ever happened to me.

Sometimes I think it's hard raising a 3 month old baby, and sometimes I feel that I have no life anymore. But I realize that I have a new life now, and that's being with my fiance and my baby. My advice to pregnant teens is, that if you are pregnant, please don't abort your child. That child is as innocent as you were when you were first born. And for those girls who are already mothers, hang in there, it might seem hard, but just think later on that precious little child will look up to you and say "that's my mommy!" And for the girls who think that they can take care of a child and want one very badly, please wait, because it's not as easy as it may seem!
