I am a 17 year old girl who is pregnant by a 15 year old boy. Don't ask why we even had sex because truthfully, it still has not occurred to me. We were close but we never really took the time to get to know each other on a personal basis. I had no idea of his age until after we had sex and by then, it was too late.

A month later, I discovered I had made the dumbest, irreversible mistake of my life...being unexpectedly pregnant. We were both scared but continued to get along until it came time to tell our parents. After a lot of research, I decided to keep my child. I always said I would never get an abortion but when it really happened to me, I was lost.

I was almost 3 months by the time I told my sister who told the scary news to everyone else. They were not happy but they were all ok about it or took it better than I expected. My father also made the decision to keep my baby because he would not sign for abortion because of our religion. My boyfriend's family took it the worst, especially his mom. She claimed it was a set-up because I knew his family was wealthy. She said a lot of negative and harsh things which discouraged both me and my boyfriend. He began to avoid me, pick arguments, and just simply disrespect me. I became discouraged and I would cry myself to sleep every night. There was no one to turn to except God, but I was too ashamed to ask for mercy. But I was strong and I didn't give up hope because through it all, I knew God was still with me.

Eventually, my boyfriend came back around and we're just as happy as before but happier. He's even excited about our little boy to be.

I'm 5 months and counting and I'm so anxious and so is he, times 2! I hope that this will better help me prepare for the real life although many of my goals and dreams have been postponed. Postponed, temporarily because I'm still going to do them.

Abortion shouldn't be legal. I have no respect for anyone who believes that it should. It is cruel and unfair, and no one deserves death for any reason. NOBODY!
