When I first found out I was pregnant, I didn't think anything of it, and I guess I didn't believe that I was. During the first couple of months, I put my baby in danger. I went to Six Flags and smoked, and just acted like I wasn't pregnant. I think I acted like that because it never really hit me that I was going to have a baby with my boyfriend of two years. We had sex, but didn't take it seriously, that's why I probably took my pregnancy as a joke. When it did finally hit me that I was going to be a mom, I started to think about all the obstacles. Like school, my friends, and how me and my man never really got along.

Now I have a 4 month old daughter. I passed my freshmen year and still make time for my friends without leaving out my daughter. Her father and I get along a lot better because we realize what a huge responsibility it is to bring somebody into this world and raise them. I have to admit it's not as hard as I thought. She changed my life around. Before, I was a troublemaker. Now I'm getting A's and B's, and I feel better about my self. I should've waited to have a baby because people say that I will miss out on a lot like prom and my high school years. But I think I'm getting a lot more like first steps and words.
