I got pregnant when I was 16 and I thought the world was over. I knew that I had to have faith in God and be strong for my unborn child. I never considered having an abortion and knew that once my baby was born I wouldn't be able to give it up for adoption. I was keeping him/her no matter what I had to do. Luckily, my family supported me throughout my whole pregnancy. I put my schooling on hold and concentrated on having a healthy baby.

Once my daughter was born and I took one look at her, I knew that everything was going to be ok. All I had to do was keep trying and never give up. We are both living a happy, healthy life together. The best advice I can give is to confide in someone you trust and get counseling. The whole journey is a lot harder when you take it alone.
