I was almost 16 when I gave birth to my little girl. Everyone was telling me I should have an abortion, but I just couldn't. I mean, I created this little life, and I should be responsible for her. My boyfriend left me when I told him I was pregnant, and told me that it was MY problem, not his.

My daughter was born on December 25, 2001. I love her more than anything in the world and I am happy I made my own decision to keep her. Her father has only seen her once in her life, when she was 11 months old, and he doesn’t want anything to do with her. My new boyfriend totally loves her, and he just asked me to marry him, and he wants to adopt her. I want to let everyone out there know, who are in this kind of situation, Abortion is NOT the ONLY choice, and having a baby is the most thrilling and exciting adventure anyone could possibly take. Most teens think "my life is over because I am pregnant." No, your life is just beginning.

Each day with my daughter (who will be 2) is an adventure, and having her was the best thing I could ever have done. She is my little Christmas present and my angel.
