I was 18 when I found out that I was pregnant. I was really excited because when I was little I knew that I was going to be a mother and a good one at that. My boyfriend's parents weren't too crazy about the idea of them having a grandchild. My boyfriend wasn't crazy about the idea at first, but then it grew on him after while. His parents kept pressing us to get rid of the baby before it was too late and everyone knew. His dad had to keep his business image good and this baby would get in the way. So my boyfriend and I thought for a long couple of weeks and decided that we didn't want a stranger to raise our child, so I got an abortion.

It was the most terrifying feeling in the world to know that you’re killing your child and one you love, to say the least. Teachers never tell you the real truth in high school. They don't tell you that it is the hardest thing to do; one of the most painful things you'll go through. When the doctor is done doing the abortion, he walks out and leaves you there lying on the table freezing. I just want everyone to know that you can make sacrifices for a baby. Don't let anyone talk you into getting an abortion. It’s depressing and you feel very alone. I wish to this day that I would have given the baby up for adoption instead of abortion. Adoption is much easier to do.
