I had just turned 16 when I felt like my life came crashing down. I took three pregnancy tests that day, and all of them came out positive. But still in my mind I thought I couldn't be pregnant. I told my mom that night. She didn't yell or scream, she just cried with me. She took me the next day to the clinic just to make sure. Those were the longest five minutes ever!! But I was pregnant. We told my dad that night. He was the one that did yell. At first he wanted me to give up the baby for adoption, but my mom or I didn't want to. I did cry for two long weeks. I was still in shock.

I went through with the pregnancy. Those were the longest 9 months ever. My boyfriend and I went to Lamaze classes so we could be ready for the big day. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Jasmine Marie. My dad and mom are the proudest grandparents of a beautiful two-month-old. Jasmine's dad and I are still together. We plan on getting married when we are old enough. We both love Jasmine dearly. The point to my story is that when you find out you are pregnant please don't have an abortion. It's murder. I know that raising Jasmine will not be easy but I have a lot of support from my family. She is my number one priority. I want to give her the best life ever.
