Well, I have read most of your stories and I know how it goes. I was 17 when I found out I was pregnant and it was a big shock. I wasn't even really dating the guy but I decided to sleep with him. When I went to tell him he said it wasn't his. At the time I was a senior in High School, and I thought that my parents would kick me out. Like most of you I decided to keep the baby whether he wanted to or not and that was that. For me there was no other choice. I don't believe in abortion and I could never give a part of me up, so adoption was not an option either. Let me tell you, it is tough, but you make it through, and things get better after awhile. Now I wouldn't change anything about my beautiful baby boy, Michael. He was born on April 14, 2003.

Just to let all of you other girls out there that are pregnant and those that are parenting know; you chose to sacrifice your childhood for the sake of your child and I applaud that. Don't worry about what your parents will say because in the end they will have nothing but love for you and your baby. And for those of you who have friends that are pregnant; please don't say that you will be there for them and then when they have the baby, not be there. Because it is so hard to have a baby, and then lose all of your friends because you can't do the things they want you to do (I know that happened to me). Just know there are a lot of pregnant and parenting teens out there that are doing just fine and becoming very successful.
