Just wanted to share my story with other girls who may be pregnant and considering abortion. At the age of 16 I found myself pregnant. I was too scared to tell my mom, so my boyfriend and I decided to not keep the baby. Deep down I knew what I was doing was wrong, but no one gave me the support I needed. All of my friends told me that abortion was the only answer. I made a decision that will affect me for the rest of my life. I had the abortion and ended the life of my first child at 7 weeks gestation. Now I am 27 years old and have two living children. I will never forget my first child and only wish I could go back in time and ask someone for help. In September my child would be turning 11 years old. At the clinic where I went for the abortion they gave me an ultrasound but refused to let me look at it. Now after having 2 children I realize that if I had seen my child on that screen I never would have been able to end that life.

Before you make a decision to end the life of your unborn child, think long and hard about how you will feel years down the road. The scar inside of me has healed, but my soul has been forever bruised. No matter how many children I have, I will never be able to fill the emptiness in my heart for my unborn child.

I pray that you can find some other means to deal with your pregnancy than abortion.
